File/Save As default location

Wed Jun 01, 2016 7:13 am
I would like to change default location for Save As. Currently it always goes to "Program Files/Krita" which is nonsense.
I would like to make Krita remember last Save As folder. How?

Hm, it really should already remember your last location _and_ default to your Pictures folder. Sounds like a bug -- I'll try to figure it out on my way home from work.

Hello

Any news on this? It would also be great if the default folder was the one of an opened file, it would save a lot of clicking...

Yep. For some reason, Krita does not remember where it was the last time. For instance, you can work on a file, you opened by double-click but when you want to save it - Krita defaults back to its installation folder instead of saving the file back to the position where it reads it from. And that would make sense if it checked the currently opened file's address and remember it.
