What's the Difference Between These Two Download Links?

Hello!

I just learned about Krita and I just read about its 3.0 release in this page: https://krita.org/item/first-krita-3-0-pre-alpha/
I saw this download link for Windows that says: krita3-prealpha-b4bac8d.zip

But I didn't click it yet and thought of going to this page: https://krita.org/download/krita-desktop/
From there, I downloaded the software and got an EXE file.

So what's the difference between that and the ZIP file from the first page? Are they the same software? Do they differ in feature? Is the other one complete and the other not complete? Was it right that I downloaded the one from the second page? Never really bothered to check out the first one. Might just be the same thing...or not. I can't say for sure.

The first one you linked is the 3.0 pre-alpha, which is an extremely-outdated early alpha test release.

The actual Krita 3.0 release page is https://krita.org/item/krita-3-0-released/
The files available there is the same as the download page.
