I downloaded Krita 64 bit onto my windows 7 laptop; Microprocessor- 2.10 GHz 2nd generation Intel Core i3-2310M Processor; Video Graphics- Intel HD Graphics 3000 but every time I perform any funtion on the paint window it is delayed several seconds. How do I fix this?

Check that opengl is enabled; check that your image isn't too big for the amount of memory your laptop has; check that the brush you're using hasn't got a very low spacing setting; check that you're using the latest version of Krita; check that you haven't accidentally selected a 32 bits floating point per channel colorspace; check that there isn't a virus scanner or something like that running; check that your webbrowser isn't stealing all cpu.
