Tilt Recognition Wacom Intuos Pro S

Sat Sep 03, 2016 5:55 am
It appears that the tilt recognition on the Wacom Intuos Pro S is completely non functional in Krita 3.0 x64 in Win10. There is no feedback for tilt enabled brushes or the even the tilt outline.

Tested in both other Windoze 10 apps and the Ubuntu version of Krita 3.0 where the tilt on the tablet works perfectly on the brushes in those control situations. If needed I can provide more information to help with this problem. Thanks! :)

Worked for me when I drawing on Windows 7 with my Wacom last night. I suspect something might be broken in your installation instead.

I tried uninstalling/reinstalling as administrator while deleting all the prefs. Switching to the portable (even tried the 32 bit version) but tilt still doesn't work for me in Win 10.

No, and that's because it's not a problem in Krita. It's something else on your system. Krita handles tablets in a really simple way: we get the driver dll, dl-open it, and then query for the functions. And sometimes Windows messes that up.

Ahhh well that gave me an idea on what to do. I purging the Wacom driver and reinstalling that instead. That did the trick. It's probably because I was using a model without tilt before and something was stuck in the past (not sure how tilt was working in my "control" app though). If anyone else has this problem, this could be your solution ;)
