Hi! I just got a surface pro 4, and want to enable pressure sensitivity. So far I downloaded the 32 bit wintab driver, the runtime drivers, and I downloaded the free trial of photoshop cc. All my windows updates are up to date.
Pressure sensitivity works in the photoshop free trial, and it works in art rage. I tried downloading gimp and I couldn't get pressure to work in it either (though maybe that was user error). I can't find any instructions online beyond what I've already tried in order to enable sensitivity in krita. For more specifics: this is a brand new surface pro 4 with windows 10, 64 bit operating system. I appreciate any help! I enjoy krita and don't want to learn a new drawing programme. |

Hi cigfran,
Perhaps you might need the 64 bit Wintab instead of 32 bit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... x?id=49498 (c: |

Oh my gosh, I can't believe it!
I originally installed the 64 bit driver, but when the sensitivity didn't work I uninstalled them and installed the 32 bit because the Krita FAQ specifically said the 64 bit drivers won't work, and you need the 32 bit even if you have a 64 bit operating system. I wonder if the FAQ is out of date? Or did I find an out of date version? This is where I found the information: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ Either way I decided to give reinstalling the 64 bit drivers a try and it works now! Thank you so much!! |

Glad it's working now, yeah that article needs updating by the looks of it.
