UI Scaling in 4k resolution

Mon Dec 19, 2016 12:11 pm
Hi,
I have a slight issue displaying krita in 4k (2160p) resolution. The elements of the UI are way too small to use the software properly. Is there a way to get the UI bigger for better working with?

Please note: All other software I use is displayed correctly, so the dynamic DPI scaling feature of windows is properly working.

Regards and thanks,
Florian

You can add the environment variable KRITA_HIDPI to the environment and set it to something non-empty. Krita will enable hidpi scaling. This however, also scales the canvas, meaning that at 100% zoom your image will be bigger than 100%.

Hey, Cool!!! Thats way better! Keeping canvas at 1:1 scale would be great but for now this is ok so far. I think I can deal with that somehow. :-)
