Hi,
for many years I was using Krita on linux but right now I've started tests under Windows 7 64bit and I'm wondering is there any possibility to view paintoppresets thumbnails in windows explorer?
Another thing - on Windows 7 Move Tool in Krita is extremely slow and laggy, practically unusable when I need some precision. On Linux Mint it works without a problem. Is there any solution for such behaviour?

kpp files are png files; there is probably a way to tell explorer about that. I wouldn't know, though...

Optimizing the move tool is not planned. If it's too slow, then please use the transform tool instead.

Thanks for quick reply. Need to dig more around kpp files, maybe there is some way to force thumbnails in win explorer.

Could you tell more about move tool, why it behaves differently on Windows?

Well, the move tool moves the layer in real time, which means that for every pixel it moves, the image is recalculated completely (all pixels have changed) and then displayed. And that seems to take longer on Windows than on Linux.

You can search for a program called Sagethumbs. It's a freeware thumbnail generator that can handle most of the image filetypes.
When installed, you can add custom file extensions on the app configuraion.
