I Hope this is the right place to drop my questions.
Hi, I'm new to Krita and so far it looks good for me. Problem is I'm having troubles with the shortcuts, for example: If I assign "brush size increase/decrease" to keys: "1/2". It'll not only increase the brush size but also zoom in and out. For some reason Ctrl+W ends up been an ambiguous shortcut And I haven't seen any other shortcut with that keybinding. If it helps I bind it to flip horizontal. The Move tool when assigned to "V" will work only while it's pressed otherwise it'll work as the Shape manipulation tool. I'll like it to work as move tool only And I'm also going to drop some questions about shortcuts Is it possible to make the color selection tool to work as a one click tool, so you use it and it automatically jump onto ur brush tool or ur last used tool? or work only meanwhile i'm pressing the key like in photoshop when you press "alt"? *I found out it works with ctrl* Is it possible to make a queue with one keybinding so it rotates tools everytime you press it? for example: "G: Fill,Gradiant" "W: Lasso, Wand" I'm liking the software so far it's really powerful the animation tools were what made me try it and the interface is friendly but my workflow depends heavily on shortcuts so I had to ask. |

There is two kind of shortcut settings: Keyboard Shortcuts and Canvas Input Settings (rights beneath Shortcuts). So check out the Canvas Input Settings.
V+mouse is default shortcut to draw straight line (which pretty handy). You can find it in "Tool Invocation" section. Also check "Zoom Canvas" and "Switch Time" (for animation). Also you can reassign colorpickers in "Alternate Invocation" (there is 4 of them). "For some reason Ctrl+W ends up been an ambiguous shortcut And I haven't seen any other shortcut with that keybinding. If it helps I bind it to flip horizontal." Just tested a bit on my PC. Seems like a bug. This shortcut closes current file and works even if "close" shortcut disabled or reassigned to another button. "Is it possible to make a queue with one keybinding so it rotates tools everytime you press it? for example: "G: Fill,Gradiant" "W: Lasso, Wand" No. But I hope developers will rework shortcuts system sometime. It would be good to get rig of confusing system with two shortcut settings and also add these "circular" type shortcuts, "hold" shortcuts, shortcuts for brush presets and pie menus. I really like how sculpting programs handle it: sculpt (draw) with mouse\stylus, smooth (blend) while hold "shift" and subtract (erase) while hold "alt". |

Worked like a charm thanks! I guess I can live without my "ctrl + w" didn't notice the canvas inputs, Krita is pretty configurable already
Sorry for the troubles and thanks for the help Radian. |
