Paint Brush Trouble

Sun Feb 26, 2017 11:26 pm
I don't know if this might be just my computer, but I have run into a constant issue where most paint brush tools such as, "Basic_mix_soft" or "Basic_wet_soft" often causes the program to fail after using. Its a fun brush and beautiful to use for backgrounds, but I'm just wondering if there's something wrong with it.

If you mean that Krita crashes if you use those brushes, then that's probably something wrong on your computer. Those brush engines work fine, and have worked fine for years.

You're not giving any information, but I'm going to guess you're using Windows. You can try to make a crash log: https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger -- that could show where the issue is. You could try to reset Krita's settings: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetti ... figuration . You might also want to run a memory checker and check whether there's any suspicious "security" software on your system.
