Hi,
Windows 10, Wacom Intuos Pro Medium Pen tablet, Krita 3.1.4.0. Trying to move a selection I couldn't find the Move tool. After reading this post: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=126207&start=15, I completely removed Krita 3.1.1.0 from my computer and downloaded the newest version: 3.1.4.0. Then I followed the instructions given in that post but without any result. All suggestions are much appreciated. Kindest regards, Leo. |

Removing and reinstalling Krita never makes any difference. Resetting the configuration may make a difference (https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetti ... figuration). Please show a screenshot of Krita so we can see more easily what's up.

Hi Boudewijn,
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I see no option for me to post an attachment. KR, Leo |

Considering I cannot see the toolbox docker, I either assume you cropped the screen for some reason, or you have half your window shifted to the side so that the toolsdocker is off-screen. If there's no toolbox docker at all, check settings->dockers and see if you can enable it there. |

This is the screen when I start Krita up.
I checked Settings and there is a check in front of Dockers (Vastzetters). KR, Leo

Go to the right-most button on the top toolbar, click it and select the default workspace. That's probably easiest.
(And it looks like the Dutch translation is pretty bad...) |

You refer to: Choose workspace, I assume? There is no 'defaut'. It starts with 'Toolbox' and ends with 'Pencils and such'.

Yes. And by default there is list of workspaces ranging from Animation to VFX_Paint. If there aren't you probably _really_ messed up your configuration, and you should reset your configuration completely (and I already gave you the link for that), and maybe even clear out your resources folder.

To be clear: this is a fresh download. I didn't configure anything.

The way Krita works is that it stores it stores configuration data separately. Deinstalling does not delete this configuration data, as is normal for modern applications outside of drivers(bestuuringsprogramma's). As you mentioned that you had a previous version of Krita, you probably still have some configuration left over, this usually shouldn't be a problem. Please follow Boudewijn's instructions, there should DEFINITELY be an entry named default in the workspace switcher, and if there isn't, there's something really wrong with your configuration/install. You can try out one of the other workspaces, or reset the configuration by deleting the configuration file: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetti ... figuration |

Okay, I deleted Windows: %APPDATA%\Local\kritarc and kritadisplayrc (which was in the same folder.
I didn't see kritaopenglrc there. Restarted the computer, opened Krita........ same result. Any other suggestions? KR, Leo I mentioned earlier I removed Krita and downloaded it again. I used Revo Uninstaller for that and chose for 'complete' removal, so assume the configuration files were removed. |

I don't know anything about "revo uninstaller"... And i'm out of ideas. I just cannot look in your computer to see what's going on, i'm afraid.
