Hi Krita devs!
Since I acquired Krita (from Windows Store, btw THANKS for this initiative that's really great!) I have crashes everytime I try to open or save a file. Um... That's a weird one, since the crash happens in the Windows kernel. The only thing I can find that look similar suggests to run this scan:
Press Windows key + X and click on Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Elevated Command Prompt. (If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow) Type “sfc /scannow” and hit Enter. Exit Command Prompt. |

Oh -- have you also tried the krita.org download? The zip file version should be easiest to test.

Both computer I've tried were freshly installed, the system is fully working (I'm a IT engineer and I create & distribute Windows build for my company)... and I can reproduce the same issue accross several devices with the same configuration.
I think it's a user rights issue caused by store apps, due to security constraints I can't give a full access to the system to store apps, so I'll give a try with the Zip package and revert back here with results Thanks Boudewijn |
