Menus are invisible.

Sun Jun 25, 2017 9:12 am
I'm trying out the 4.0 dev build.

I noticed a lot of the menus are invisible.

Some icons are the same. (It also happens with the menus of text tool in 3.1.4)

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to prevent this.

I've heard of this twice before, but I haven't been able to reproduce. Is your windows set to another language than English?

Thanks for replying.
I was using Japanese for the system local language, and I've just switched it to English(U.S). (display language is English in the beginning)

But still nothing changed in krita.

I have that same issue. I have japanese locale so I can run some programs so that might be the problem?

(UPDATE)

I accidentally mentioned this when I was trying to report a bug of a nightly build and one of the devs gave me a solution.

This is caused by there being no translations, but your version of krita tries to get the current translation anyway. You can 'fix' this by deleting or moving your 'kritarc' file. (Which is probably located in the user\appdata\local folder, if you're using windows)

But they also mentioned it might be fixed once they start packaging translations again.
