Installed Krita Desktop 3.1.4 (x64) on a new ASUS windows 10 laptop.
Everything worked fine the first couple of times I started it. Now it has ceased to open at all. Important notes: - After installing Krita Desktop (non-portable) I noticed a significant lag between pen press on my UGEE m708 (I realize this is not a "supported" tablet, but it's what I have) and ink display - After installing Krita and running successfully the first few times, I... 1. installed the UGEE m708 tablet drivers in attempt to fix the lag problem. Installing these drivers is a nightmare of uninstalling/reinstalling drivers and restarting. 2. disabled the OpenGL settings to try and stop the lag - After doing these two things, I attempted to start Krita. It would not start at all (an encouraging spinning circle and then... nothing). - After several unsuccessful attempts, I uninstalled and reinstalled Krita a couple of times. No luck. - I uninstalled Krita Desktop and downloaded the "portable" x64 version. Still no luck. - I have attempted to start Krita without the UGEE m708 connected. No luck. - I installed the 32 bit version. The 32 bit version starts, but is still the wrong version (32 bit instead of 64 bit) Questions: - How can I uninstall Krita desktop COMPLETELY? Does it tweak the registry? If so, are there keys I should look for/remove? I want to start with original settings to return to the initial state with OpenGL enabled. - Alternatively, is there a configuration file that I can edit to enable the OpenGL setting outside of the program (since it won't start)? - Is there a known solution/issue I have missed? I have read through the forum questions and searched, but have found nothing that helps. Thank you. |

No, Krita does not touch the registry. Removing the configuration files is covered here: https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetti ... figuration

So did you fix it? i have literally the exact same problems. Say is your Ugee control pannel for tablet settings also so weirdly cropped and in-expandable?
