I don't know if I'm using the Bezier curve tools properly. I'm trying to create masks for use with the airbrush tool but I can't edit the paths at all. After I've finished closing the path I can't edit its points, i,e. move them or change their direction. I'm more familiar with using it in Adobe software so is there a difference in Krita? (3.1.4)

In Krita, when working on raster objects such as masks or paintlayers, the path tool is only a tool to output raster lines. To make vectors with the path tool, you need to use a vector layer.

I've tried it on a vector layer. I can transform a path after it's made but I still can't edit the path points. Should I assume that Krita doesn't do that? If so then I will just make my masks via freehand.

No, you can edit vectors, the thing is that it is incredibly unobvious in 3.1 and it is one of the reasons why we overhauled vectors for 4.0.
Basically, you need to select a vector object, then a second tool should appear in the menu, then you should select that tool, and then you can edit the nodes. In 4.0 pre-alpha the second tool is always visible and double clicking a vector object brings you to the node editing tool automatically. |

I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. I saw what you meant. The reaction to editing points is slow but it works.
