Not sure if the applying part is slower too but at least the preview for filters is way slower in x64 builds. It takes at least twice at long it seems (most are even slower than that) and you get errors pretty often too (saying something about memory). Clicking the same filter fixes it. No errors on x84 as far as I could tell.
