Hello,
I tried to install Krita from https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/ and downloaded the 64 bit installer and when I try to run the exe file it wouldn't work. It gives me the NSIS error. I've tried using other web browsers to download, the /ncrc command, tried changing the file to just one word, tried installing krita from another source but it still wouldn't work. I also tried downloading the portable version but that wouldn't work for me either. I'm using a brand new HP Pavilion and it runs on Windows 10. |

The error says 'Installer integrity has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.' It works when I download everything else though, I downloaded Chrome and Firefox and it was fine.

You can try to download it from Windows Store.
It says its payd but its more like a donation. You can use it without paying if you feel like it. Are you by any chance running "Windows 10 S"? if so, that might be the cause. I ask because i have never experienced that, at any time i downloaded krita. The fact that the portable version didn't work is also very surprinsing. |

I'm running Windows 10 Home. And I checked the Windows store but it costs $14.95 and I don't have any money for it. How else can I get it for free? I tried downloading Krita from other sources too. |

Download the file again with another browser. Use Chrome or Firefox. And save the file to disk instead of selecting "Open" from the browser.

I tried with Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge but none of them works.

What is the size of the file you downloaded? A proper download of the 3.3.1 x64 installer would be 54522960 bytes.
Also check what URL is the file downloaded from in the browser's download list. Try choosing a different mirror from here: https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/3 ... mirrorlist |

It is 52 MB, which is the correct file size. I'm going to try downloading the file from another mirror now.

I tried installing from a different mirror but it still doesn't work. I suspect there's something wrong with either my hard drive or I have corrupted files somehow...

Hi I'm getting a similar problem for the OSX version, "The following disk images couldn't be opened: krita-3.3.1-1.dmg - image data corrupted" I tried it from firefox and chrome with the same result - the file is 89.1MB. Is there more than one download location? I'm just clicking the link on the download page of krita.
Thanks. |

Alright. So I tried to download Krita at school, and it worked! I actually don't know how it worked because I didn't change any settings, but maybe it was because some of my laptop's processes were blocked because the school has this thing where when you connect to their wifi, it automatically block sites that are in a particular category so students cannot access them (I DON'T KNOW). But yes it works now and the program runs fine.
