Hi! First of all, thanks for all the work you make with this amazing program
I have a strange problem with Krita. I installed version 4.1.7 and deleted some files I don't use in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\krita like patterns, gradients, etc. then I started the program again and the menu options are invisible, but only some of them. Screenshot: I uninstalled Krita, used CCleaner to clean registry and temp files, deleted all files in "AppData\Roaming\krita", reboot the PC and then installed Krita again but the problem wasn't solved. I tried older versions, like 4.1.5, 4.1.3 and 3.3.3, but only the oldest shows all the options in the menus. After working fine with 3.3.3 I installed 4.1.7 again and the menu options are gone since que first second I start the program. Any solution? PS: When I start the program I can see the last files I've been working on, but I think I shouldn't be able to see them, because I uninstalled the program and erased all the files, used CCleaner, etc. is there any other config. folder where those things are stored and maybe is the cause of this problem? |

Thanks for your time! I've read the link and it's the first time I read that uninstalling an reinstalling doesn't solve this kind of problems in a program. And I've been dealing with programs more than 20 years... Anyway, I tried what you said, but when I rename those folders with another name, the program creates new folders and the problem is still there. I don't understand why this solution is different from deleting those folders and reinstalling, but hey, I'm not a developer... PS: By the way, the new and old folders that Krita makes are called "krita" (both of them), there is no "kritarc" on that locations... |

OK it's fixed now, I didn't realize that "kritarc" is a file, not a folder. Deleting it has solved the problem.
Thanks! |
