See cloned area in brush

Sat Jan 12, 2019 11:29 pm
Hello, is there an option in Krita for seeing what i'm cloning (cloned area) when using the duplicate brush, like the way the clone tool in photoshop does?

Thanks in advance.

Hi pgasi,

I'm afraid not, see: viewtopic.php?f=288&t=155823&p=407144&hilit=clone+cloned#p407144 (I think you're referring to the "v)_Clone_Tool" preset).

And I guess it would be a useful feature for retouching. If you're a coder and want to make the cloned area visible, I think devs will be glad to add the patch.
