This (among other things) has started happening to me on Windows 10 with recent 4.2.0 pre-alpha versions.
Which version of krita are you using? Is it installed or the standalone package (.zip)? When did it start happening and is it related to any significant event such as changing the krita version or a Windows update?

I forgot to mention... I'm also using recent 4.2.0 pre-alpha versions(.zip). I don't exactly remember when it started but it's not related to any events outside changing krita versions.
