Hello,

I have been using the Windows store version of Krita 4.2.8 and since version 4.2.7 I have been having this bug: if I change the theme, language, anything on the workspace or create a tag for my brushes everything resets to default after every relaunch.
I tried uninstalling the app and deleting all residual files.

Do other settings stay changed -- like for instance cursor settings and so on? If not, it sounds like something is making Windows remove Krita's settings after running it. There are apparently some sandboxing settings that can do that with store apps, though I don't really know details.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to answer my post, I really appreciate it.

I just checked numerous settings including cursor , renderer, memory limit , hdr, and everything resets after a relaunch.

Just making sure - you close your system using the Start menu in Windows, right? Not the power button by any chance?

No, I always power off via the Start menu.

I managed to make my settings stick by changing the hard drive the application is installed via the windows settings.

Ah, then it probably _is_ something with a Windows setting that cleans up any changes after an application has run.

I did move Krita again to the original location and the settings still stick and work fine now.

Again thank you very much for taking the time to respond.
