Hello. So I've wanted to use Krita for quite a while but I've found a singular roadblock and that is using my tablet; it simply wont read my tablet pressure at all!
And I've been checking all around, I've already deactivated WinInk from the Tablet Preferences settings, I've tried toying around pressure settings, nada. I checked the Tablet Tester and it was reading like it was a mouse, despite me setting it to work as a tablet on the Tablet Preferences. However, I noticed at some point that it started working?? I changed to another brush and I could use pressure for just a moment! But, just for a moment. As soon as I checked another brush, it stopped. Could something be interfering with Krita? My Tablet is a One by Wacom, CTL-472 (NOT to be confused by the Bamboo One), so I don't know why it isn't working like all other Wacom tablets as listed on the list. |

When you say, "... setting it to work as a tablet on the Tablet Preferences.", do you mean the control/setup utility that was installed when you installed the drivers etc that came with the tablet?
Are you using Windows 10 and not Windows 7? (If Windows 7, you may need an older driver or different driver.) Have you tried reinstalling the drivers, after disconnecting the tablet and restarting your computer? If krita's tablet tester isn't showing pressure readings, i.e P=xy.z% on each line of the tablet record on the right hand pane, then krita isn't getting any pressure vaules from your tablet, at least not in any way it can understand. This may be of some help to you: https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/d ... blets.html When it stopped working after you selected another brush preset, did you try going back to the previous brush preset to see if that one still worked? The simplest brush preset to use to check pressure response is the b) Basic-2 Opacity. If someone has a Wacom CTL-472 or has experience of it, they may be able to offer more advice. |

Yes, I do mean the setup utility that came with the tablet driver. Sorry if I sound weird, English isn't my primary language.
As of now I am using Windows 10, so I would understand why it wouldn't work, updates and all. I did read all of the Drawing Tablets page, but I've done everything it says and it's still not fixed. And yes, Krita doesn't register any pressure, I've checked it again today and it doesn't read any pressure. Here is an image of me using (trying to) the Basic-2 brush ![]() If anybody here knows anything about this tablet, that would be great. |

Hi, I just lost 1 hour with the same problem (I just installed the latest update and it stopped working)
I tried to install the "WinTab" driver, and by restarting krita it worked I hope it will work for you |
