Hi,

When I open a document in Krita or even try to create a new one, the whole program freezes, says "Not Responding," and then, if it doesn't close on its own, will occasionally open the document or create the new one, but when I try to draw, it shows the "Not Responding" message and either stays frozen or just closes itself.
I have tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, installing other versions, including 4.2.9 and 4.3.0 beta 2 (which I'm currently using), I restarted my PC twice, checked my computer storage, and reset the settings in Krita.
What else can I possibly do?

Thank you.

Look at the Krita FAQ section Krita is slow.

When you have the problem. invoke Task Manager and look at the Processes tab. Is something other than Krita using a great deal of memory? Some web browsers will do this. It is easy to saturate memory. Try running Krita when other applications are not running.

I guess you're using Windows?

* Try to run Krita as administrator
* Check whether your GPU driver needs updating
* Check whether there's a kritacrash.log or krita.log in the local appdata folder, and see whether that contains a hint of what's going on
