Hi,
When I open a document in Krita or even try to create a new one, the whole program freezes, says "Not Responding," and then, if it doesn't close on its own, will occasionally open the document or create the new one, but when I try to draw, it shows the "Not Responding" message and either stays frozen or just closes itself. I have tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, installing other versions, including 4.2.9 and 4.3.0 beta 2 (which I'm currently using), I restarted my PC twice, checked my computer storage, and reset the settings in Krita. What else can I possibly do? Thank you. |

Look at the Krita FAQ section Krita is slow.
When you have the problem. invoke Task Manager and look at the Processes tab. Is something other than Krita using a great deal of memory? Some web browsers will do this. It is easy to saturate memory. Try running Krita when other applications are not running. |

I guess you're using Windows?
* Try to run Krita as administrator * Check whether your GPU driver needs updating * Check whether there's a kritacrash.log or krita.log in the local appdata folder, and see whether that contains a hint of what's going on |
