I was wondering if it is possible to develop krita scripts with PyCharm on Windows with krita installed from app store.

Can you help me with a setup?
For now I am having the issue that PyCharm cannot resolve krita imports.

Hm... That's going to be kind of tricky, I'd guess. Maybe you would be able to add Krita's python packages dir to the pythonpath for PyCharm. Where that is, depends a bit, because Windows Store puts Krita in a pretty weird place. It might be easier to start with the portable zip file from krita.org, that's a bit more introspectable.

I'm pretty sure that nobody has yet succceeded in doing so; I've seen questions about integration with Python editors/ide's a couple of times, but no solutions.

As the person who developed the Python scripting plugin, I have to admit I have no idea how to do this either: I used to be really good at Python, but that was in 2000...
