Im glad :)

How about this, still need to polish but yep thats the idea, the brush tip its going to have alpha, that way it will simulate being loaded with paint (that will depend on the background color ^-^

hope you like it

shiny and fun, I prefer the bottom-right version from what I see . Here are some of my opinion about :
- I'm not fond-off the empty space only for the 'brush hair' area
- I like the color with gloss you made on the background circle
- I probably would prefer the "circular colored area" to have extruded metal look only ( not merged with brush shape ) and a 3D like glossy brush on the top.

The icon really looks cool and would fit perfectly in a Kde 4.x environment. Great work!

On the otherside, when I look to the future and all possible designs disscussed here for KF5 there is a clear direction towards 'flat design'.
Maybe it would be more consistent with the community icon theme as well as with the current trend to give it a flat appearance?

Actually thats what i was thinking some hours ago, about the design path direction taking place right now , thats why im planning on doing a flat version of it.
It looks great on OSx enviroment (the launcher) ;D and on windows too i dont know if it would be possible to do the windows and future OSX builds with the detailed one ?
i will provide both versions

@legnaVI
Great work! I love the new tool icons :D
About the application Icon: I really don't find it appealing, feels dated with the use of the metal rim. What I like is the bigger prominence of the brush, but the silhouette is lost with so much textures and probably it would not work on smaller sizes.

In the original Icon the brush was painting, and I saw some of that idea in the first version with the brush tip touching the circular edge. However in the last version the icon lost a bit of dynamism.

Keep up the good work :]

@legnaVI I think you are pretty talented in terms of designing things, the toolbar icons are great.
However, to be honest, I do not like the new application icon, although I consider it done nicely.
I think it would fit pretty well in the oxygen icon world, but not in the new flat style.
Please do not get me wrong, I really like your work, its great, however I am not sure about the application icon.

Dont worry thats totally fine , thats why im trying to create a flat one for the new coming flat style :)
anyways just wanted to create one with an OSX feel, cuz im also a osx user and it fits perfectly on the launcher along with the other icons ^-^
