Ah no the glowing bit is the top-of-the-screen menu.

The only real issue that I can think of right now with the dark theme is how to organize the colors - is it darkest for outlining areas and charcoal for the box? Or is it reversed? Also should there be shadows inside the box (I still can't remember if Marco said that was impossible or not btw) and how? Which color?

Aside from that I'd say it's pretty much just "go for it" as Andrew said.

Also I thought about posting the Aurorae theme, the Qtcurve theme, the Color Theme and the Plasma Theme on the blog today, should we bundle it somehow and place it somewhere rather more official sounding or should I just link to the google thing... also, is it ok Andrew?

Absolutely fine with me! (All of course with the standard Work In Progess reminder.)

No opinion on where to host it - my shared Google Drive folder is fine if you want to use it. I went ahead and moved some of the more private VDG files (mockups, typography notes, etc.) into a different shared folder just for VDG here.

Can't open the tar.gz here at work (Windows ewww!), but I totally trust your judgement on this Jens. Go for it.

Ok I found two things that I wanted to look at - this is not counting the clock or the logout art that some lazy Swede once claimed he would do but didn't (I hate that swedish [illegitemate child, really forum? Thats censured as a word too?]).

Ok so I have an issue which I think isn't the theme's fault but I mention it just to make certain:
The shading remains when you close the window and stays there in bits and pieces until the screen is properly redrawn over those areas (like move a window over it).

And then there is this which isn't an issue per say but something that could be fixed and set to another color (perhaps to pick up the color themes text color too ey Marco? :) )
Or just stick to charcoal as the color for them - the "them" being the little close buttons on the pop-up

Yeah I experience that when using the windec too. Weird. I think it might be an aurorae bug or something.

Ooh, gotta try to figure which file contains those. Yeah I agree, it should just be the text color. Is that the regular taskbar or IconTasks or some such? Cuz my tooltips don't have that close button. Either way, agreed on it being the text color. :-)

In regards to the word filter - yes, a massive list of phrases are blocked to ensure people aren't offended.

Bcooksley: well I swear like a sailor AFK so it's tricky for me rewriting phrases (and being an "illegitimate child" is not so much a pejorative as a descriptive where I'm from applying to almost everyone of my generation me included). Not complaining the list is there - just a tad surprised that specific word was blocked out. :)

Einar: Thank you! How the ... heck... did it get locked anyway?

One comment on the Clock module - it looks very nice, but the margins need to be made consistent - the difference between the Help button and the tab widget is very jarring - looks like there might be double margins/padding in play.

I know that Plasma is all about clocks. ;) And this one is particularly nice-looking!

I never use analog clocks, but I concur that this one is beautiful :)
