@Sir_Herrbatka: well people are still off on carneval and besides people saying it's a tad to chubby everyone seems to think its a smashing idea so I'd say GO FOR IT! (then we need to convince some dev's too which may be trickier)

no problem. I will rename this cursor to the "kate upton" so it will be clear that it is sexy and certainly not skinny.

Why do you think that's tricky? i don't think the devs will care about default cursor theme so much, they know how to change it if they don't like it anyway |

Well in my experience they are the ones who stick to the Oxygen cursors like glue or something

They may use it now together with Oxygen (and I think that makes sense because they go together very well), but I'm sure they'll see that it doesn't fit the new default Plasma and widget theme at all.

Hi, this is the very first version of "KateUpton" cursor set. If you like them and consider them for real use I'll finish them by adding cursors made for Gimp, Krita, Inkscape and any other program you like.
Those icons are mostly inspired by Awesome icon set (I think this is good direction since this will likely be part of global icon set), Classica++ and Oxygen. I realize that using same icon for Krita and cursor might not be a good idea, but finally it's up to you. I've add some alternatives so I'll be very pleased if you tell me which is better. I'll make them usable tomorrow (if there will be opportunity for that of course)because I'm too tired, but for now I hope like this set Here is svg file: http://ubuntuone.com/6sl0ONruL761DTvXQJcujb |

I really like that theme, too, and I don't think that the waiting cursor being similar to the icon in Krita is a big problem.

Sure why not, actually i think it would work better as a replacement for an hourglass than being the gradient editor on krita( if you have seen my posts on that thread of course), to be honest it doesnt look like a gradient editor at all So yep im totally down for the hourglass idea |

Sure why not |

hmmm, this one is pretty much aliased. I tried hard to keep classicia smooth. I succeded with white variant but i didn't put comparable amount of the labor into the black one so far.
Still, some elements are good. Especially the zoom and unzoom. I would happily incorporate those into classicia. |

@legnaVI Great! I think that your icon look a way better as hourglass then this colorized Awesome icon (4A/5A)!
@sir_herrbatka I'm glad you like it Could you explain me for what kind of activity there is "cell" cursor? I don't really get it Now I'm working on porting this icon set to the usable theme. |

Since I have @legnaVI's blessing for using his icon as an hourglass cursor, I consider this as the "main" design of this cursor.

Cell is one of those rarly used cursors. I think calc and other excel-like apps use it.

That was my first thought but I've never seen that before in any app include those you've mentioned. Thanks for clarification
What do you think about usage Awesome icons as cursor icons eg. pencil? |

THIS! Do this!
@Leroux @Sir_Herrbatka @LegnaVI You have my full support and endorsement! Try to do this together ok? So that we can benefit from all three of you and you can all feel a part of it. You are doing AMAZING progress on this. Just going from good, to great to greatness!
