sure, we have a lot of time to work on it.
Anyway, i finished clearing the white-classicia cursor theme. I have changed few things that were bothering me and now it looks like a good start to work on a new cursor. @Leroux can you share your sources? https://www.dropbox.com/s/6u3un1dnnj6f0 ... .tar.gz?m= |

Wow! Great work legnaVI!
Ok, so just to be consequent I give you my usable concept, so you can test it and tell us what you like, what is ugly or need to be improved. http://ubuntuone.com/2H0zoo6Q8IW44lHVC7vEba |

Ok, so here is my question. Which of those 2 pointers sets is better? One with strips or without?
(Just to make it clear, upper set we can call "1 (or first)" and this next set "2 (or second)".) What's important is that those strips come from idea cartoon gloves like those , and in accordance with this fact, pointer had to be three finger glove, not four. Finally I decided to make them upon the classica++ theme, so top of the glove is from classica hand and the bottom is mine. |

Sure! Here you have all files including SVG and XCF http://ubuntuone.com/3iCPmV86KtV1BtAVecxSFP.
ps. tonight I'll cut this svg file into separate files. |

Ok, I've cleaned up and improved those files. First of all, they're now one file, so from now only this link works http://ubuntuone.com/2H0zoo6Q8IW44lHVC7vEba. Second of all, I added svg files cropped into a peaces, so from now every cursor is in xmc, svg, and xcf format. I've also improved some svg cursors, so now they are better antialiased (and thats all improvments ). |

Personally i don't like stripes – they just add visiual clutter, look childish an renders the cursor as a cheap OSX copy (square icons also are to much iOS in feel, but that's other story).

I agree sir_herrbatka on the stripes: I don't think they add anything useful to the icons, nor do they make them more visually appealing to me.
Other than that: Great work, we're heading towards an awesome cursor theme here! |

BTW, i made a github repo. Right now it holds only my own files.

I think it would be beneficial of both you sir_herrbatka and Leroux could work together on one cursor theme instead of each of your on your own. If this is about who takes credit for publicly, I'm sure we can find a way to make clear that it's a collaborative product of both of you.

Actually we are working together since Tuesday But for most decisions we want to get involved community, after all our work is FOR community
So in near future where will be more this stripes like polls. So please take a part with voting, you can just type "Stripes poll: first" or "I like stripes" it will be so much helpful! |

Oh sorry, I misinterpreted your recent posts, they looked like you guys still worked on separate files. Great to hear you're working together on the same theme!
Involving the community is of course the way to go! I've already "voted" against the stripes in a previous post. |

We will merge everything into the family of uniform looking cursor themes. I actually just start doing that.

Just holler when you guys feel confident about it and I'll post it on the VDG blog as the new cursor theme
