Re: [Idea] New window style for KDE 5

Chiming in a bit with my opinions from latest Neon5. The Breeze is quite huge when compared to pretty much everything. The "tiny" size of it is currently more like normal while "normal" (the default) is more like very large. Then there are a lot of sizes upwards but only that one (tiny) after normal going down in size. This critique brought to you by Plastik dieharder of all possible people.

I agree, I think the tiny size should be default. The normal size is just too big, it uses way too much space especially on smaller displays

I think it's mostly completed, but maybe you have some good ideas. If so, then feel free to modify it.

Thumbs Up for this. Really like this :)

It is a good idea IMHO, although the guidelines on KDE say that color may not be used for determining states I believe. It is also rather small and faint. This could not be as visible to users and given its state, I would probably make an emergency/attention signal more prominent on the window.

The HIG says that color must never be the only available indication, yes. That said, it's fine to use color as an additional indicator to another one.
So we can use the color as an indicator that complements a more prominent one, but not as the only one.
