I haven't uploaded it yet, I was going to edit it some more.

Confused to what to upload? and where? As photographer and have donated images that were included in 3 prior Ubuntu versions.

As Ubuntu had setup groups on flickr to gleam photography images for the defaults. Allowing people to upload 10 a day and after the deadline disable uploads then they would go through them picking out and having whoever to vote on them for inclusion as one of the dozen or two dozen included default wallpapers.

As seems first how many images does the design team want to include in default distro? What kind? Photography also?
Where,How and When will they be determined?

As not sure of the what's wanted? have 11,000+ images on flickr alone and would be time consuming finding downloading then editing for resolution. Then uploading hi-res version to? A place to host submissions then imbedded thread here would garner more submissions.

Well there is the Deviantart group, but I plan to prolong to competition two weeks so I will probably post about it today. Deviantart seems to be the place that garnered the most positive responses.

I wanna do something with neon-on-charcoal geisha/cherry blosson tree. Maybe with a future-y twist. Dunno when I'll get any of that "proactivity" stuff, so if someone else wants to take a swing with that idea please do! Source is provided if anyone wants to mess with the wallpaper.
