It happened way too often that I rightclicked a window in the taskbar to "show a launcher when not running" (which by the way don't fit into the size of the rest of the icons in the panel, but that's another issue) and accidentally click right click again and close the window.

It would be nice if it had a pop up window similar to the network, calendar or tool tip when hovering over it
