Most of them have already been implemented. Any feature you were looking for, in particular?

Mostly: drag and drop multiple files, external viewers.

I'm using Ark 2.19 with KDE 4.14.2 (Mint 17.1, based on Kubuntu 14.04 LTS). Is there a way I can backport the latest Ark?
Thanks for your efforts.

The multiple-drag-and-drop has been fixed in Ark 15.08.01. You can open files with an external application since Ark 4.14.3, and we are working to simplify the operation for the next Ark release (15.12 version).

I have no clue whether Linux Mint provides backports of applications, sorry. I would advise you to ask in some Mint's forum/mailing-list/IRC channel.

Thanks again Elvis,
great to know about the improvements!

Mint uses Kubuntu backports PPA: https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+arc ... /backports
There is mention of Ark, but I think I understand that for 14.04 there is only 4.14.2 Ark. What do you think about it?
Thanks.

I'm not sure if that's more recent than the version of Ark you already have. Anyway, Ark 4.14.2 does not have the fixes that we were talking about.

Nope, that's the same version as I already have.
Anyway, it's good to know that Ark is improving. I'll get it with the next LTS.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

Ciao
