Hi everyone, I have done a collection of various pictures of the new Konqi design:

The design has been refined, giving Konqi a cuter face, less sharp-looking antlers, longer, meaty limbs to do various poses and a more elastically looking tail. The color palette received small tweaks to make the outlines look lighter.

The base picture size is A4 300 dpi, outline thickness is around 25px. The actual sizes of each picture varies, determined by the poses and accessories, but the head size is roughly the same. No dirty color is allowed, everything was carefully drawn using sharp brushes.

I suggest we replace the current KF5 about picture (discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=285&t=121267) with the KDE Frameworks one or the KDE Platform one in this new collection. The group picture I submitted before was not refined and looks too clampy in a 150x250px space.

This collection of pictures is licensed under Creative Commons BY-SA / GNU GPL / LGPL /GFDL. I hereby donate them along with the design concept to KDE, so there won't be any copyright issues that might hold you back. (Just in case!)

Special thanks to Stefan Spatz, the original designer. I deliberately based my new design on his former one, showing the continuity of spirit.

P.S. His name though. Is it Konqi or Konqui? Even this page (https://www.kde.org/stuff/clipart.php) has two answers. I'm confused. :b

Your work is so amazing. do you also want to make some konqui artwork for plasma and the applications?

I'm thinking maybe about:
- emotions (smileys)
- weather wallpaper (and weather plasmoid, konqi in the snow, ...)
- education theme (parley, khangman, ...)

If you need some Information, I would search and give it to you. I made a education theme and also I know how to make a emotions theme. So If you are interested in anything, please let me know.

One nitpick though (complaining on a high level, no worries ), i know katie is supposed to have a lighter color compared to konqi. But for some reason she looks transparent instead of just lighter. Or am i the only one having that feeling?

Thank you! I tried Konqi's palette on Katie but it didn't felt right. Maybe the cute girl next door formula does need lighter and pinkier elements to work. :b
