Hey,
One of the things I've been missing lately is a full-fledged emoticons theme. Are there any plans to come up with one? So far we have these [1] but people are using more and more the Emoji Unicode standard [2]. It would be really-really cool if somebody could look into having a breeze-proof theme. Cheers! But those made by Andreas are not final as I'm still making them/creating new ones. ========= By the way, do the emoticons have to be PNG?, can they be SVG and use gradients? or is there a limitation of the library in that regard. |

I've added some emoticons to upstream. https://github.com/NitruxSA/plasma-next ... ter/emotes - I did put them in separate folders: one for face emoticons the other for objects, like Emojione are categorized, this is also used in Whatsapp, Hangouts.. (the categorization).
Obviously.. disregard the shadow around them. |

They look really cool Uri! I guess that now we'll have to turn it into a KEmoticons theme, if it hasn't been done. I was thinking about creating a Google Code-in task about it, how does it sound?
Also, fearing I'll be a "party-pooper" but the standard [1] is really extensive, can we maybe fallback on another theme somewhat compatible to Breeze (both in Looks and Licence) or do you plan to draw them all yourself? [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji |

Thanks. We need guidelines for the emoticons first since I just made them and so that others can add more. There's the emojione icons Andreas shared, although they are rather orange and are identical to those of Whatsapp. |
