I agree with kbroulik here. I think if the system tray popup is opened the notification should be moved up/down (y-axis) so that it ends up above/below the popup.

Can we please please keep the discussion in the bug report only? There's no point to discuss it in two places. And there's also not much to discuss, the report was confirmed, meaning "we accept this and we'll look into it".
Thanks EDIT: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338946

I am sorry, I misunderstood the meaning of "confirmed". For me "confirmed" meant "yes it's a problem", not "yes, we want implement X".
We have decided that we would like to discuss VDG matters here in future if someone wants to know the VDG's stance on an issue. The bugtracker is not the best place to have such discussions. |

I'm afraid that messing with notification looks like a dirty hack in the end. Let's assume we have a manager, some kind of stacked panels, it still pops up the same info twice (by the way, what happens in case of more than one connection?). Closing a connection intentionally or disabling WIFI is not loosing it, IMHO. So why don't be silent in this particular case?
