Icon for PhoneBlocker (BlackBerry)

Mon Jan 19, 2015 7:11 am
Dear Visual Design Group,

if someone feels enthusiastic about helping me with an icon for the application, that would be very much appreciated. :-)

The application is meant to block certain mobile numbers from either sending sms messages to your phone or calling your phone. You could even disable both.

Having had a quick look at similar non-free, as in beer, applications in the BlackBerry World as well as Android Market, it seems that the pattern for these icons is usually a crossed phone and/or an indicator for messages. Here you can find a few examples of those:

http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore ... GB&lang=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... n.mm&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... l&hl=en_GB

I am a software engineer, a real geek and nerd in the heart, using command line interface on my desktop, which is inherently not a nice option for mobile gadgets. Either way, I hope someone can help me with an icon for this application. Let me know if you have any questions or comments in order to progress with creating the icon.

I think the icon size was 114x114 when the Wiki Reader icon was designed by Eugene about two years ago for BlackBerry. Here you can find that icon for reference:

The Phone Blocker code is currently available in playground/mobile and it is close to the release and publishing. Here goes the corresponding repository:
