A search in krunner brings up items separated by horizontal lines. The clipboard and network managers also use these horizontal lines as item separators. I think they're both unneeded and *not* nice to look at.

On a related note: is there any config file one could modify to manually get rid of these separators?

I think they all use PlasmaComponents ListItem which resides in [plasma-framework] /src/declarativeimports/plasmacomponents/qml/ListItem.qml

Cheers! So it's theme-dependent, I see. Nice to know this can be modified with some effort, but I still think the Breeze plasma themes should just get rid of them.

EDIT: Actually I think I misunderstood. It looks like it's theme independent.

Could you share some screenshots for that?

Unfortunately none of my own as I had to move back to KDE 4, but have a look at this one I found on the net:

The separator lines make it look VERY busy.

The lines never bothered me much, but that is still a clear improvement IMO. :)

This is what I can make it easily look like; exactly like in one of the mockups, right? Disregard the folder icons, those actions are a local experiment. Also, Spectacle's rectangular selection mode somehow always adds a stray cursor to the picture.

Yeah. That looks good. :-)

Also, are those folder icons a "Show in folder" feature? :-D

Cool, once the other slew of changes for KRunner (Drag and drop support and what not) has landed, I'll post this stuff for review.
