It can't be seen from this screenshot, but the 'Notifications' item is above Konversation in this list.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed and decided on before (I could have been asleep in class I suppose), but I have several questions about the design of this panel:

  1. All entries are set to Auto by default. That means that after the first 8 items, the system tray just continues to grow as new items are added. It's a bit much I think, and it would be much better if more items were placed in the list in the panel instead of always visible in the system tray.
  2. Why isn't it possible to scroll in the list in this panel?? What is possible however, is to click and drag the list up and down! I learned this fact today, by accident! That's a rather expected behaviour on a mobile device, but my 27" screen is far from mobile. What's the idea here?
  3. There are no indicators that the list of items continues on the top or bottom. One mostly has to guess if there is something there, or rather one has to try and click-and-drag the list to find out.

What's the deal here? Is this all by design, or is there still work left to do on this panel?
