Hey, I am currently working on getting some KDE posters for conference stalls in a ready state. The discussion about the content is already done at the kde-promo@kde.org list. What I am looking for in this forum is comments and guidance on my poster layout. What I did by myself is the following poster draft:
https://homepages.uni-paderborn.de/phoe ... ter_v1.pdf The main idea for the layout is it to use boxes for grouping the content. Boxes then are either one or two columns wide. Additionally, I am using colored boxes to highlight the teaser and the main message at the end. For now, please ignore all the needed micro adjustments that are still necessary. But I am interested in general feedback about: * did I use correct colors? * did I found the correct Logo for printed material? * is the layout/design somehow consistent? Thanks a lot, Andreas PS: time is a real pressure here, since the poster must go to print in about one week |

I think the general layout design is fine. It is, perhaps, a little heavy on text which can be a little challenging to digest as a primary stall graphic. Othwerise, pretty good I think. Others with better taste than me should offer comment.
Incidentally, here are some poster board designs I created for a conference booth I supported recently: https://share.kde.org/index.php/s/886fb ... 9c082f1333 |
