Dropbox icon should depend on plasma theme, not icon theme

I noticed that with 5.5.3 there is now a nice dropbox icon that shows up (at least in Kubuntu when you install the nautilus-dropbox package). The problem is that it is icon-dependent, so that if you use the default Breeze icon theme and Breeze dark as your plasma theme, the icon becomes invisible. Is there no way to make the icon dependent on the plasma theme instead?

Hi,

marco add an feature that you can use breeze icons for the breeze-dark plasma theme. So ordinary it should work, if not, bug report. owncloud is still the same. I will discuss at the CERN Sprint with marco what we should do with the system tray icons.

If I click on the "Details" tab of the Breeze Dark desktop theme, there is the "theme item" called "Icons". Did you mean that? It states that "Breeze Dark Icons" are being used, which is correct for everything but (some/all?) legacy system tray stuff, like dropbox. But I have noticed that some widgets adopt the plasma theme settings and some don't. E.g. the folder widget uses the icon theme icons, so the folder icons are hard to see.

Thanks for looking into this at the CERN sprint!

Just to be clear here: it is impossible for Plasma to change legacy system tray icons. Those are drawn entirely by the corresponding applications.

That's a fundamental limitation of the legacy system tray, and one of the reasons why the new SNI was conceived.
