Best place to ask for help?

Thu Jan 25, 2018 7:12 pm
Hello. Just wondering - is this the best place to ask for help, or should we be creating tasks in Phabricator and tagging the VDG? My specific inquiry has to do with a request for help with a new KDE Application (Falkon browser, formerly qupzilla) in which the request in Phabricator has gone unacknowledged for several months now, and the Dev(s) need logo and branding help prior to the upcoming launch.

Specifically, https://phabricator.kde.org/T6859. Any help appreciated!

Hello,
I'm not sure which place would be best for this, but I would suggest to try VDG Telegram group, as it is pretty active:

There is also other KDE stuff related Telegram groups, more you can find here:

Thanks. I'll await for another answer, as I'd rather not set up telegram for this one issue, although I will if needed.

It would seem to me that some of the pinned posts in this subgroup should be updated with more relevant procedural information.

You don't need to set-up Telegram as there is web based client. But you need an account which requires mobile phone number :)

Yepp - I'm on it and also this specific topic has been picked up by the VDG, so all's well. I'd still change the sticky topics in this subforum to reflect telegram going forward.
