How do you guys practice ? Do you guys follow any challenges ? I can design at a very basic level but i am not getting the idea what to design everyday.

Just so there is no misunderstanding: Visual Design is about Graphic Design, not about drawing with a computer. It is the implementation of a graphical idea to make a User Interface easier to use while being pleasant to the eye (that is my personal idea of it, opinions might differ).
