I love KDE Plasma, but the single gripe I have with it is viewing the battery percentage.
The default battery icon looks like so in the system tray: Very nice and clean. However if you select "Show Battery Percentage Icon" it looks like this: While this is showing the percentage, it obscures the icon showing the charging status, and the biggest issue: its super tiny unless you have your taskbar blown up to a huge size with relatively scaled system tray icons. I think a solution would be to render an icon next to the primary battery one showing the percentage. Or at least provide the option to select "Next to icon" or "Overlay icon". Here is a quick mock up of what I am suggesting. Personally I think that would be much much more readable and helpful to the user. |
