If I have UI updates that I want to do with the application. What is the best workflow for getting this done. Should I get everything approved before I do any commits? Should I create a bug for the improvement? Should I use the forum to get feedback? I feel like the developers will have more to say about my changes than artists will (especially since some of it is more technical).
UI work usually involves more feedback than features do, so it feels odd just. For instance, one idea is to change the brush sizing slider to use a logarithmic scale from 1-1000. We could eliminate the multiplier drop down then. It seems like changing brush sizes would be easier to use this way. Do you guys usually get feedback on what you want to do, or just run with it? |

A good way is to make a git branch (krita-uiimprovements-petrovic) and push there -- that makes it easy to do tests. I will be away for a holiday for two weeks, btw.
