OS: Windows 8.1 pro on a Surface pro 3
Using Krita Version krita_x64_2.8.79.21.msi I am still experiencing a large a pen offset issue on my Surface Pro 3. While my Ntrig pen accesses all menus and icons it is offset from where it draws on the paper. This issue continues from the past alpha build as reported both here and by bug report. I would dearly like this issue resolved before development keeps added more features. I am sure nthis is a Krita issue as all my other softweare works fine. thanks Rob |

Yes, I'm pretty sure that desktop scaling somehow messes up Krita's tablet pen calculations. Where the pen is used as a mouse, i.e., in the menus, it'll be fine, but where we read the tablet events themselves, something is out of kilter. I haven't had time to look into the issue -- which would be hard anyway, since I don't own the hardware.

You can completely disable display scaling in the control panel to test this easily. It made no difference in the pen offset for me, but I only briefly checked with a few basic brushes.
It's also not really a solution as it makes menus and buttons near impossible to use, but it might help narrow down the problem. |
