Tracking now is fixed for the Surface Pro 3 using krita_x64_2.8.90.1.zip

But when trying to draw all you get is a purple rectangle that disappears when you lift up the pen. No matter what color you select the object is light purple, and no lines are drawn, only the rectangle (like you are making a selections box.

That's because it's not the freehand tool that's default, but rather the vector object selector.

I don't know why it happens and I find it annoying too. But just select the freehand brush, it should work fine.

It's because I was half-way (I hope...) through fixing the bug where the tool options don't show up initially :-)

As said, it's the first beta, there be bugs!

Nice catch TheraHedwig. You are right, I didn't notice that I was not on the brush. Thanks!

@boudewijn I am not throwing stones at this beta, I thought I spotted a bug and was trying to help. Looks like you are on the right track to get Krita really working on the Surface Pro 3. I am actually ecstatic with this build!
Thanks for your efforts
