I spent a little time thinking about how to show and manage resources with the new resource manager in 2.9
Currently, there are a few links in the menu that relate to managing resources. I thought it might be better to put all of those in the resource manager window. I re-arranged the UI a bit and also added a slightly modified version of the "create new resource bundle" window. As noted in the wireframe, I think it would be good to make this just a "Manage Resources" menu item under the settings area. http://i.imgur.com/X36jCOY.jpg All feedback welcome! This resource managing area is very nice. I think people will use it once they see what it can do. |

Description is missing in both cases.
I personally use the description to explain what each brush is used for and such. You can open bundles as a zip file, check out the meta.xml to see what I mean. We at the least need it to explain like 'muses.bundle contains brushes for use with the muses dvd' and 'filter brushes extreme contains all sorts of brushes using filter settings'. etc. Edit: It looks good, but that was the first thing that popped out to me ![]() I guess it makes sense to put it underneath settings. I like that you added clean backup and open resources folder there. |

The description is right underneath the title for the bundle details. The title and description just don't show the labels by them in the resource manager.
For the creating new bundles window, the description textfield is also right under the name --like it is when you are viewing it. If I am not understanding your comment, please let me know. |

Oh! I guess my problem is that those description fields are too tiny? But yes, that should give some idea of what the pack is for.

ahh, yes. you are right. I can give the description some more space -- and add scrollbars if the description gets too long.
