Can a simple function be added to add multiple layers to a group?

What I would like, is to be able to select multiple layers, right click, and there would be an option that says, "add layers to new group" or "group layers" or something (all options that don't apply to multiple layer selection can be greyed out in the right click menu). Currently, you have create a group first, select the layers, and then drag them into the group. The" add layer to group" icon, only allows to add a single layer at a time.

Ah ok, seems like a popular request.

The layer docker in general needs and overhaul. There have been some talks about it already in terms of UI. I wonder if there could be some specific funding for these things.
