Tools docker always reseting

Wed Jan 28, 2015 2:06 pm
Hello everybody!
I am Alex, illustrator using Krita as main software since a few months, and Krita looks so far ( in specially the last updates) a big hit for professional cg art tools, in the industry.
I wanna thank you for your hard work.
I read most of the bug list, and i did not find about this (or maybe I miss somehow) maybe because it is not bug, but can be a little bit annoying. It is about the tools docker. This is always reset after each time I am open the software. I set it in one column layout and saved as default work space, but every time I have to use the workspace button to make the change. Sorry, again, I know it is a lot of more important and bigger issues, but I am wondering if can be modified somehow in the future.
I am not using the bug report section, because i am not so familiar, how the thing works there exactly, and be more professional, as tester. Otherwise, each update looks better and better, in action.

Thanks again, and keep up the good work.

Sincerely
Alex

There are a number of bugs with the current tools docker layout system. Whether or not it resets itself seems to be a bit random. It's actually taking so much time to fix bugs in the tools docker that I'm considering just making it ordinary toolbars again, like we had in Krita 1.4...

ok. I understand. For me it was no other thing to complain, maybe those some crashes after setting something, but overall I learn to not setting them to much, because the new implementation have much more benefits than some crashes. that why I did not consider this thing a major bug.
Stability it is more important, got it :).
Thank you for your fast answer.
keep up the good work!!!
Alex
