I have only started the application and used it quickly but I was able to build it. It took me a while to figure it all out so I thought I would share my notes and maybe save someone some time.

steps that deviate from web site:
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev libboost-dev libeigen3-dev

cmake -DQT_QT_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/qt4/ -DQT_SELECT=4 -DBOOST_LIBRARYDIR=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ -DEigen_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/eigen3 -DBoost_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$HOME/kde4/inst $HOME/kde4/src/calligra -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo -DPRODUCTSET=KRITA -DQT_QMAKE_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/qmake-qt4 -Wno-dev
