The sharpen one is less er...messy, so it's less a pain in the butt, but still annoying. I presume it sharpens the edges of the canvas and so lightens it in the process.

They're both easy enough to fix with roundabout ways, like duplicating layers and only sharpening/blurring top one; but I figured it was worth reporting anyway~
